Sagot :
My father was a carpenter. He worked on buildings and made furniture. He also, for his own satisfaction made small figures and toys for me. When I was about six years old he would take me into London, to galleries and museums, so the first art I saw was Greek and Egyptian sculpture and painting. My father was learning about it at the same time as me and I got my love for art from his reactions and interest. I remember being lifted up to see the face of a pharaoh really close and hearing someone in the museum discussing with dad how the stone was carved and polished.
Today it still makes me really emotional.
p.s. i never encounter this kind of event, i've just make it up.
