Two quantities are said to be in direct proportion if they increase or decrease in the same ratio
The formula for direct proportion is :
y = kx, where,
y and x is any of the given quantities
k is the constant
Kung given sayo yung table of values and need mo kumpletuhin, hahanapin mo muna yung constant para mabuo yung formula na yon.
For example :
It is given that
y = 5
x = 1
y = kx
5 = k(1)
5/1 = k
k = 5
so kapag ibang value na ng y hahanapin mo,
If x = 2, what is y?
y = kx
y = 5(2)
y = 10
