Nina shuts the lid of her laptop with a loud clap. Some of the students sitting at the tables near her looked up from their books and gave her annoyed looks. Nina realized that she had disturbed them and held up her hand apologetically. The librarian turned toward her and shushed her loudly, perhaps louder than the noise that she has made.
