The 1st microscope that was developed was the optical microscope in 1590 and the
original inventor was not clearly identified. They gave the credit to HANS LIPPERSHEY and
ZACHARIAS JANSSEN FABER who coined the name "microscope" for Galileo Galilei's
compound microscope (occhiolino or little eye) in 1625.
