They will want to follow their parents' example and build a values-based family if they see and feel it in their parents. This is what is most important: teaching children via word and conduct. Instilling in them a sense of their worth as human beings with rights. Teaching kids to appreciate one another and their neighbors, with the neighbor always being the one in need, instills genuine character in them.
In a family, respect for one another, taught through word and behavior, is what binds them together and creates the foundation of love. The parents' and children's commitment to respecting each other's rights and dignity is then reinforced, resulting in a happy family. They are capable of standing together in friendship and conquering any obstacles.
