Explanations:

The two staves are example of C Major and G Major  

In C Major,  the first note is in C (ledger line) D- E-F-G-A-B-C. There is no sharp or no flat.  

G Major,  has one sharp in the fifth line. The first note is in G that is why it is called G Major, while the note the fall on F will be called now as F-sharp or F#.

But both C and G Major have the same so-fa syllables for each letter names:

C-do, D-re, E-mi, F-fa, G-so, A-la, B-ti
