East Asian music, including China, South Korea, and Japan, contributes to certain characteristics such as tonality and cultural influence. These three countries have contributed significantly to the identity of the region by forming their own culture. The importance of the instruments and music played helps us learn about history, geography, the values, environment, government, and other aspects of the said culture, and thus, a very good way to approach the study of culture and history.
