1. Lay-out and trace the pattern in the
cloth and provide seam allowance.
2. Fold the edge of the front and the back
pieces 12 another 1" inward, pin-baste
to press and sew it using running stitch.

3. Next, fold the hem of the longer piece 5"
and pin it. Be sure that the wrong side
face each other. Do not sew for this will
be your flap.

4. Sew 7" along the edges from the right to
the left of each side using plain seam.

5. Cut %" from the 2 sewn edges making
sure that the straight stitches are safe.
