Sagot :

Answer:

11 students

Step-by-step explanation:

On solving a Venn Diagram, list down the numbers given.

35= all of the students

19= students studying French

12= students studying Spanish

7= students studying both

Now make a Venn diagram, in one circle label it as French and the other as Spanish. DONT put the numbers of students studying French and Spanish YET. Were gonna put 7 on the middle, now were gonna subtract 7 from the number of students that studied French and Spanish.

12-7= 5

19-7= 12

Were gonna put 12 on the French circle and 5 on the Spanish circle. Now we have 3 numbers on our Venn Diagram, next is were gonna add up those numbers and get out total.

5+7+12= 24

So we have 24 students studying. But our students in all are 35, were gonna subtract the total we had on the Venn diagram to the students in all.

35-24= 11

So we have 11 left, means that they are the students who is not taking any of the two languages.
