History is a past. History is important. History cannot be change.
History is something that we did in the past it could be a history of friendship, history of war, history of love, history of the world or any certain country, anything that is involve the time 'past' is a history. It is very important that history is kept and remembered as we can learn something from it (it is also the reason why we're learning history in school sometimes it is to honor our national hero). As I said, history is a past time, it cannot be change but always remember that if there is a history there is a lesson.
