Joe and Joan Public often have more ‘common sense’ view about issues, but may look at issues superficially or from one perspective. OK that one perspective may hold validity, but a more analytical approach to an issue, will expose a range of viewpoints, and generate ‘evidence’, rather than opinion to support the way forward.
