1.A farmer harvested 100 cavans of rice.The storage room is 3 m by 2 m by 2 m.How many cavans of rice can the storage hold if one cavan occupies 0.2m³?
2.Find the volume of a cone with a diameter of 6m and a height of 7mm

Need help please , and btw if your a moderator or genius please delete my nonsense Question thank(✷‿✷)

Sagot :

For no. 1

Cavan, C = 0.2 cu. m

Volume, V = 3m x 2m x 2m = 12 cu. m

No. of cavans, N = V/C

N = 12/0.2

N = 60

Therefore, 60 cavans of rice

For no. 2

I don't think a 7mm height of a cone is possible for a 6m wide circular disk. It would be just be assumed like a sundial or a flat circular disk. However if 7mm is supposed to be 7m then:

Volume, V = ⅓πr²h

V = ⅓π(3)²(7)

V = 65.97 cu. m
