Social media, being prevalent nowadays, provides a platform for students like me to voice out my opinions regarding different contemporary issues not only in our country, but globally as well. Because of the separate online community provided by these sites, I am able to gather the opinions of my peers and fellowmen to shape my own ideologies and stance regarding matters of today. Lastly, I am able to communicate and socialize with my countrymen and overall form better relationships with one another to ensure a more peaceful and cooperative community. All this is made available within the comfort of our own homes, which is especially important in a time like the pandemic.
