Activity II: Theorems on isosceles Trapezoid
Do the procedures below and give what is being asked.
Materials: bond paper, pencil, ruler, protractor, and compass
Procedure:
1. Inside the box on the next page, draw rectangle MORE where MO = 9 cm and
ME = 7 cm.
2. On Mo name a point B, 2 cm from M and another point T, 2 cm from O.
3. Form BE and TR, to illustrate isosceles trapezoid BERT.
4. Use a protractor to measure the four angles of the trapezoid. Record your findings
in the table provided on the next page
5. Draw the diagonals of BERT.
6. Use a ruler to measure the diagonals. Record your findings in the table below.
