There lived a woman who was a real workaholic and did not even dare
waste a single moment of her important life.
On her way to the city, she would be thinking on what stores she would s
hop in. Once in the store, she would plan where she was going to take a
short walk. During the walk, she would then think about on where she was
going to eat. While eating her main dish, she would plan on what she was
going to have for her sweets
. While eating sweets, she would look at the
schedule to choose the bus she was going to heed home.
This woman never paid any minutes of attention to what she was actually
doing. She was always getting ready ahead for the next event.
One day, she came to something she had not prepared for, her death. As
she lay dying, she was surprised at how empty, lonely and meaningless her life
had been. She now realized that she had never live in the present.
