Question:

which theory do you think resembles the atomic structure closely.? explain

at_answer_text_other

Dalton's atomic theory

  • was accepted by many scientists almost immediately. Most of it is still accepted today. However, scientists now know that atoms are not the smallest particles of matter. Atoms consist of several types of smaller particles, including protons, neutrons, and electrons.

  • Dalton's atomic theory proposed that all matter was composed of atoms, indivisible and indestructible building blocks. While all atoms of an element were identical, different elements had atoms of differing size and mass.

      More Learnings:

  • The modern atomic theory states that atoms of one element are the same, while atoms of different elements are different. ... Atoms of the same element (i.e., atoms with the same number of protons) with different numbers of neutrons are called isotopes. Most naturally occurring elements exist as isotopes.

Hope it helps
