The national bodies are sovereign entities that deal with the problem of the country at a national level. Further, depending upon the size and constitution of the nation, they delegate a lot of governance to subnational levels (states), then the states to cities or towns etc.
If you have issues with government at your location, take it up with them, write to your representatives (such as your member of parliament), campaign at local level or revolt violently with a coup if you care to. I am least bothered.
But stop thinking that everything is somehow global and the entire world has to dance to your tune according to whatever problem you are facing (even though claiming everything is global somehow became a sign of wokeness). Whatever you think should happen in your locality, does not really translate to a globally optimum policy. It is like having an illusion of global dresscode or global diet without knowing the local climate or environment.
