10. What is the difference between the distances of the dots of Setup A and Setup B?
11. What do the space between the dots represent?
12. What does Setup A depict about the velocity and acceleration of the toy cart?
13. What does Setup B depict about the velocity and acceleration of the toy cart?
14. Create a graph representing Setup A and B using velocity vs. time graph.

The distance of the dots between setup A and setup B is setup A has a constant distance between the gap of the dots while in setup b, the distance of the gap between the dots increases.

  • Setup A - the object is running in a constant speed
  • Setup B - The object is accelerating or increasing its speed.

When the dots between the ticker tapes are getting wider, then the object is accelerating or moving faster.

  • Ticker tape are used in experiment in terms of acceleration, velocity and distance. When the distance between the dots in the ticker tapes are getting smaller, it means the object is slowing down or decelerating.
  • Objects are moving faster or slower depending on the force applied and mass of the object exerted. With higher force, the acceleration of the object increases and lower force causes the object to move slower.
