The features of proprietary softwares (closed source) are more professional as usually they are being supported by a company which has many hired developers and has enough money to manage their softwares. Open source softwares on the other hand can be backed and supported by anyone in the public who is willing to help as the code is open source but the features may be limited compared to those of proprietary softwares.
