Why is it called taking a dump, when you're leaving it?

Sagot :

Answer:

It's called “taking a dump” because you're taking the time to dump your feces. But, it doesn't mean it should be taken literally. Instead, it actually means in a way, that you're taking the dump out of your body, the same way that you would take the trash out of your house.  Which makes this phrase a "Figurative Language." It is the use of word or phrase that does not have its normal everyday, literal meaning. Writers can use figurative language to make their work more interesting or more dramatic than literal language which simply states facts.
