Changes that happens during adolescence
Boys
1. enlargement of the scrotum and testes
2. Some boys may get some swelling in the breast area.
3. Voice begins to change or “crack”; muscles get larger
4. The hair then becomes darker and coarser as it continues to spread.
5. puberty hormones increase,
Girls
1. Breasts will start developing.
2. body shape will change
3. hips may get wider as well.
4. Periods start.
5. Vaginal discharge begins.
Both girls and boys
1. begin to grow hair under their arms and their pubic areas
2. Skin gets oilier and pimples sometimes start showing up when puberty begins
3. Both became more independent
4. The start of having a romantic relationship and infatuation
