Pistil
The ovule producing part of a flower. The ovary often supports a long style, topped by a stigma. The mature ovary is a fruit, and the mature ovule is a seed. Stigma: The part of the pistil where pollen germinates
It consists of four major parts:
Stigma – The head of the pistil. The stigma receives pollen, which will begin the process of fertilization.
Style – This is the name for the stalk of the pistil.
Ovary – The base of the pistil.
Ovules – These are the flower's eggs, located inside the ovary.
