parents
- If and when I hurt my parents, I can show them my sincerity in being sorry for causing them pain/inconvenience by cooking for them or doing the laundry. By doing these household tasks, I would lessen the weight of their chores. Of course, I would keep doing this, not only when I do something wrong (that's called being two-faced, and being two-faced is not cool!).
- possible sins: showing disobedience, disrespect, ungratefulness
siblings (brother/sister)
- More often than not, my siblings and I would find ourselves in our own little arguments. But when push comes to shove, our love for each other is too strong to keep us apart, so we end up saying our sorries to each other. And to show our sincerity, we could make and give each other cards/letters! It would be like "tokens of conciliation" or something similar in the future!
- possible sins: raising voices/yelling, greed (like not wanting to share a bacon strip)
friends
- I can show my friends that I am truly sorry after I hurt their feelings by confronting them. I would talk to them only after reflecting on my own fault, then I would apologize for all the things I did to cause them pain. I believe friendships are heavily dependent on communication, so that's exactly what I want to use to mend a relationship.
- possible sins: sharing their secrets, not sticking to promises
teachers
- If I ever end up hurting one of my teachers, I would write them a formal letter apologizing for making them feel that way. A teacher-student relationship should be professional, but I could also treat them to a free drink or lunch at school (if that is allowed and without intentions of bribing them). There's also just being a good student -- participating in recitations, class discussions, etc.
- possible sins: showing discrespect, getting caught cheating
classmates
- I can show my sincere sorries to my classmates by proposing to help them out in their studies. As a student myself, I know and have dealt with the struggles of school, so I would want to offer help to my classmates (any help that isn't considered cheating).
- possible sins: not helping in group works, messing up their output paper (like throwing it away, spilling coffee on it, stepping on it, etc.)
