During the COVID-19 pandemic, wherein learners are studying from home, parents need to assist in the teaching of their children. They can do their part at home to reinforce this important family-school partnership. They need not be scholars to teach their children. What they need is the determination to help their children continue learning even in this difficult situation. Set up a daily family routine; talk each day with the child about his/her activities; limit and monitor TV watching, gaming, social media, and computer time; and participate in decisions that affect the child’s education
