Holy Spirit, I come to your need today asking that you may help me live a life of simplicity by convicting me and leading me the right way. I ask that you may give me opportunities so that I may help the church of Christ respond to Jesus' calling for them so that they may become a Church of poor. Help this church to serve like how our Lord Jesus Christ asked them to serve, which is a church that embraces and practices the evangelical spirit of poverty, A church where no one is poor and everyone in it gives generously and selflessly to fellow brothers and sisters in Christ that are in need. Give this church the Spirit of selflessness, generosity, kindness, and modesty. I ask this in my Lord and savior, Jesus Christ's Name, Amen.
