Menstrual Cycle occurs as a monthly period for up to 40 years. The egg will start to develop as a follicle in the ovary. There are hundreds of follicles in the ovary but only one will get to matured. The hormone will help the egg cell to get matured and those hormones also prepares the uterus when pregnancy happens. Lining of the uterus starts to thicken to have more blood supply when pregnancy happen. During the 14th day, LH will be at its peak resulting to ovulation. The egg cell will goes out the ovary and travels to the fallopian tube. When the egg cell is in the fallopian tube, it will wait for the sperm cell to fertilized the egg. When the egg cell get fertilized, it moves down to the uterus for growth of fetus and development. When egg cell will not get fertilized, it goes out the vagina in a form of blood together with the shredded lining of the uterus. The cycle will repeat again.
