If a P-wave arrives at a seismograph station at 9:07 am and the S-wave arrives at the same station at 9:09 am, about how far is that station from the epicenter

The answer to this is 1000 kilometers. The trick is to look at where it takes exactly 2 minutes apart for the waves to arrive. hope this helps lodicakes <3
