Basic literary approaches to interpretation give us an idea of how to interpret texts appropriately. This helps us understand better what the text is about, so we can eliminate whatever ideas or insights that we have that might already be "overboard" or going beyond the context as it is. In real-life situations, how do we "interpret" a scenario appropriately, and how do we make sure that we do not go overboard in solving a situation (or make it worse as it originally is)?
